~If you anticipate a later check in, please advise guest services and we will arrange for a late arrival.

Are pets allowed at La Posada?

Yes! Pets are family at La Posada. Maximum of 2 pets per room. Pet fee is $50 per night. 

~Pet Fee: A non-refundable pet fee of $50 per stay is required. This covers the additional cleaning and maintenance needed to ensure our property remains pristine for all guests.

~Pet Limit: Each room can accommodate up to two pets. If you have more than two pets, please contact us in advance to discuss arrangements.

~Size Restrictions: We welcome pets weighing up to 60 pounds. For larger pets, please contact us beforehand to ensure we can accommodate them comfortably.

~Behavior and Supervision: Pets must be well-behaved and leashed in public areas. Please do not leave pets unattended in rooms. If your pet causes any disturbances or damages, additional charges may apply.

~Designated Pet Areas: Pets are allowed in most common areas, but are restricted from indoor dining areas and specific zones marked as pet-free. Please adhere to the signage around the hotel.

~Health and Safety: Pets must be up-to-date with vaccinations. Please carry a copy of your pet’s vaccination record during your stay.

~Cleaning Responsibilities: While we provide cleaning services, we request that pet owners clean up after their pets in and around the hotel.

~Liability: Pet owners are responsible for any injuries or damages caused by their pets to other guests or property.

By bringing your pet to La Posada, you agree to abide by these policies. We look forward to welcoming you and your furry companion for a pleasant and comfortable stay!

Pet owners are responsible for any damage to the hotel, your room and its contents caused by your pet. We require a $250 damage deposit at check-in, which is refunded upon checkout assuming there is no damage.

Do you have rooms that overlook the Delaware River?

Yes, all the rooms and suites at La Posada have a limited view of the Delaware River. 

Is there an Elevator

La Posada has two flights of stairs. The historic nature of the building does not allow itslef to have an elevator.

Are there good hiking trails nearby?

Yes! Milford is known as the birthplace of the American Conservation Movement. There are some amazing hiking trails at your door step as La Posada is just 100 meters to the Delaware National Recreation Center. A great reference for this is the “AllTrails” app available on the App Store and their website is https://www.alltrails.com/explore/list/pike-county–2

Grey Towers National Historic Site

Waterwheel Cafe is a beautiful historic restaurant and cafe serving a robust lunch menu and coffees.

Milford Hospitality offers five great dining options throughout our portfolio, including our Mexican Restaurant “On Site” La Posada & Felix’s Cantina, serving world class, authentic “Yucatan” cuisine and amazing margaritas. Our sister properties have restaurants such as Bar Louis (Upscale Modern), Tom Quick Inn (American / Italian), Apple Valley (Family Restaurant), Jive Garage Bar (Sports Bar), 403 Broad Street (Cafe and eatery).

Is there a place to store bikes?

Yes we can lock them for you indoors at the Tom Quick Inn. There are bike racks at each one of our locations that allow you to lock your bike on site outdoors.
